The Penn Charter boys’ and girls’ lacrosse programs are proud to host a special fundraiser inviting all alumni, friends, and members of the community to come together in honor of Margaretha and to support the newly established foundation in her name.

The day will begin with alumni games, with the Penn Charter boys’ alumni lacrosse game at 9:00 a.m., followed by the girls’ alumni lacrosse game at 11:00 a.m. All of Gretta’s friends are warmly invited to come out, lace up their shoes, and take part in a day dedicated to remembering and honoring her life.

Following the alumni games, the current Penn Charter high school boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams will take the field, playing with the same passion, competitiveness, and fearless spirit Gretta always loved—dreaming crazy and competing in the blue and yellow Quaker colors she wore so proudly.

Margaretha was a proud Penn Charter alum, where she was inducted into the Athletic Honor Society and where she met her future husband, Patrick Farrell. Penn Charter held a special place in Gretta’s heart, filled with lasting memories, friendships, and milestones. Stepping back onto these grounds to honor her legacy is deeply meaningful, and the memories we shared with her here will always be cherished.
