Board of Directors
Emilee Ehret Mahon
President
Emilee Mahon is a Business Development Consultant at Janney Montgomery Scott, where she partners with financial professionals on growth and learning initiatives. She began her career in education, following in the footsteps of her sister Gretta by joining Teach For America. Emilee taught in an underserved Chicago public school while earning her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education—an experience that deeply shaped her commitment to expanding access and opportunity for all students.
After transitioning into the financial services industry, Emilee has remained dedicated to mentorship and youth development. In college, she competed in field hockey at Penn State University, where she was part of two Big Ten Championship teams. She now coaches field hockey at the high school and club levels in her free time.
Emilee founded and serves as President of the foundation in honor of her sister Gretta—a teacher, mentor, and coach whose impact continues to inspire her every day. Through the foundation, she is committed to carrying forward Gretta’s legacy and ensuring every child, regardless of background, knows they can dream crazy and achieve beyond limits.

Kasey Meehan
Kasey Meehan is the Director of the Freedom to Read at PEN America, a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to celebrating literature and defending free expression. Her work focuses on ensuring all students have access to diverse and inclusive books in public schools and libraries through a national advocacy campaign. As this Board's a non-college athlete, Kasey challenges the "NARP" stereotype in 1) being athletic but not an athlete and 2) believing that movement can be a form of medicine. She completed 500-hours (and more) of yoga teacher training with Three Queens Yoga in Philadelphia.
From Kasey: Gretta was a champion for her players and her students, pushing them to dream big and show up for themselves and others. I'm excited for the opportunity to continue that legacy, in giving young people the opportunity to play sports and dream crazy!
